What is BIM?
BIM (Building Information Modelling) is a collaborative approach to projects that uses digital technologies to make planning projects more efficient and give greater clarity and detail for the building as a whole. BIM allows you to embed asset data along with a 3-dimensional model into plans to help manage and maintain assets through the project lifecycle. BIM is now required for local authorities work and is used by most major construction companies.
What are Eurobrick doing with BIM?
Our BIM information allows users to input 3 dimensional models of P-Clad and X-Clad. In addition to the system models, users can also see system details and get quantities required, such as number of bricks, corners, fixings etc. This can then be sent to us so we can provide an accurate estimate for the project. Users can also produce 3D models of their buildings to get a clearer idea of how the final finish would look.
You can download our BIM information for X-Clad and P-Clad below. If you have any questions or would like to know more, please call us or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
