Installer Profile: Weatherseal Facades Primary Schools

Hillmorton Primary School in Rugby needed to expand in order to provide an additional seven classrooms at their school. The £2.1m project by Ashe Construction was carried out to include two new classrooms and a new two-storey unit with five classrooms.

The buildings were manufactured offsite and the external finishes of brick slips and render were installed on-site by Eurobrick approved installer Weatherseal Facades. Approximately 250m² of our P-Clad and 50mm X-Clad were installed along with Rustic Red Multi 689 brick slips from our Britannia range.

Weatherseal also carried out works at Bishopton School for Ashe Construction, providing their client with a complete cladding package including installation of SIPS panels, P-Clad and render. The £2.1m project was designed to extend the existing assembly hall and to add 8 new classrooms, doubling the schools intake from 210 to 420 pupils. Around 165m2 of P-Clad was installed with EBS textured brown brick slips and our dark brown mortar.

The client was very pleased with the result and with the service provided by our installer Weatherseal Facades,

“Weatherseal provided an excellent service assisting on detail development for the cladding package, a reactive on site workforce who responded to any issues positively and this was reflected in their works being completed ahead of programme and to a high standard of finish quality.”  Rob Slack, Ashe Construction.
