In summer 2016, approved installer, Industrial Contracting Services (ICS), completed a project where around 100m2 of our 17mm thick X-Clad system was installed at Higham Lane School, in the Midlands. ICS has been one of our approved installers for over 8 years and has worked on countless school developments during this time.
The Higham Lane School needed more space and ICS installed the cladding to a new modular building forming the 6th form centre for the school. The building, including the ground works, internal fit out and all exterior cladding was completed in just 10 weeks. ICS fitted Eurobrick brick slip cladding together with feature red, powder coated aluminium panels to the front elevation wing walls which means that the new modular building fits in with the overall colour scheme of the rest of the building.
Red Multi Dragwire 313 brick slips from the Britannia Range along with our Europoint mortar in Sandstone were the chosen finishes. This ensured that the new building complemented the school’s existing buildings while working with the new red panel colour scheme, to give it an overall distinctive look.
