Having successfully completed a number of similar projects, Midland Portable Buildings invited the Governors and staff of Robin Hood Academy to view a previous project. They were instantly impressed by the robust nature of the external finishes. Speed of installation was also a key factor, the project needed to be carried out during the summer break
The project was a stand-alone 144sq metre modular building which was constructed off site and subsequently clad with X-Clad once the building was in-situ. The building was sited within a four sided courtyard and needed to blend into the surrounding environment. Nubrick Developments installed Britannia Range Red Multi Dragwire 313 brick slips on 17mm thick X-Clad backer panels and took just over 2 weeks, of the 6 weeks schedule, to complete.
Michael Hobbs, Contracts Manager with Midlands Portable Buildings Ltd wrote of David Rackham of Nubrick Developments:
“Dave was appointed as our preferred installer after an initial site meeting to ascertain our exact requirements. I found him both professional and respectful throughout the tender process. Once on site, it was quickly identified that he knew the system and what our expectations were. Dave's experience as a traditional bricklayer was particularly useful and evident when setting out and making the system work to the bespoke nature of our modular building. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for future work of this nature and intend to use his services again very soon.”
