Built in the late 1960s as offices, Catherine’s House formed part of the wider St. Catherine’s Place mixed-use neighbourhood precinct in Bedminster. Bedminster is a residential district of Bristol located south of the River Avon and about a 20 minute walk from the city centre.
Local developer, Firmstone Developments has converted the vacant office building into residential apartments as phase 1 of its scheme to regenerate St. Catherine’s Place. The redevelopment of Catherine’s House included adding 2 additional storeys to the original 6-storey building to provide 54 contemporary one and two bedroom apartments.
As part of the rejuvenation project, we supplied around 1500m² of our P-Clad system along with Rustic Golden Multi and Rustic Red Charcoal Multi brick slips from our Britannia range and Ketley Dudley Blue brick slips from our Classic range. The dated exterior was given a complete facelift with a contemporary mixed palette of finishes including brick slips, render and Trespa.
